Steven Gray Pascal, M.D. has been performing laser vision correction since 1996, and he has been the Chief or Associate Chief of Ophthalmology at Summit Medical Center in Oakland since 1994. Dr. Pascal has been teaching eye surgery as a Clinical Instructor through California Pacific Medical Center for almost fifteen years. He also works as a Medical Consultant for the University of California, Berkeley's Tang Health Center.
Dr. Pascal is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University where he was graduated with Distinction and with Honors. He attended Tufts University School of Medicine at the New England Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. His ophthalmology training was through the University of Southern California at the Doheny Eye Institute and Los Angeles County General Hospitals.
Dr. Pascal and his partners at Eye Physicians of the East Bay work as the team ophthalmologists for the Golden State Warriors. Dr. Pascal and his associates perform yearly pre-season eye exams for the team and attend each game to provide court-side help when needed. They have also cared for members of the Oakland Raiders and Oakland Athletics.
